At the end of the next week I am flying to Spain & begin with heavy schedule at MBG Audio (Tarragona). At the end of this week I am gonna enter the studio to start with drum recordings for yet untitled album of Spanish death/black metal act EvnaR. Music contains lots of blast beats & really really fast double bass attacks! There's also many of mid/slow tempo variety of grooves. Expect a killer CD!! Drum recordings are scheduled for Negligence Recording Studio, the rest is gonna be recorded at Josep Mª Miró González's studio in Tarragona,Catalonia/Spain. Josep is also the founding member & guitar shredder of EvnaR & Between the Frost, the band we toured with in Spain a couple of years ago. Mastering is scheduled to be done in Necromorbus Studio, Sweden. Report about further recording progress follow soon! Atttaaaaaaccck!!!

In two days I am going on Asian tour with Nothnegal, Modern Melodic Death Metal band from Maldives. First stop is Malé, the capital of Maldives for rehearsals and aftert that we fly over to Dubai to start the tour. There's quite many day off's till the next confirmed show, so we will continue rehearsing in Malaysia in the meantime. The first show is a big open air festival in Indonesia 'Hammersonic Jakarta International Metal Festival, Lapangan D Senayan' and after that another open air 'Viharamahadevi Open Air Theatre' in Sri Lanka where we headline. We are still waiting for some shows to be confirmed, so check my schedule section for updated tour dates. I am really looking forward touring Asia, cause it's the first time for me to perform there. Videoclip for a song Codex Sacrus from the upcoming album 'Incests' is finnaly on band's youtube channel! The project was directed by Tina Istenič. She used some really cool artistic ideas and was very cooperative with us. We worked hard on this one, but it was worth it at the end! We are satisfied with results & I hope you like it too! In the end of the week I am shooting a video with Condemnatio Cristi, the band I recently recorded an album with. Codex Sacrus is the chosen song and it's one of the most powerful (straight attack) dynamic songs from the upcoming album! Album is in the final mixing and mastering process. We are all satisfied with the results so far! I'll posted here as usual when the album is finished and released and the video available for all of you! Keep it up!

I am flying to Greece in a month to record a videoclip with Obduktion for a song Morbid Curse from the upcoming album Pain Chronicles! We will be quite busy beside videoshootings, cause we have in the same week band rehearsals, photo sessions for the album cover and a live show! The show will take place at the An Club in Athens! Be prepared for heavy attack!!!

I have sad news for those who expected my performance with Obduktion this weekend here in Slovenia. Obduktor's wrist injury force the band to cancel two live shows on 14th and 15th of May in Črnomelj and Ljubljana. A really big sorry to all the friends, fans & my students who expected this show with great pleasure, especially after the short preview of the songs from the upcoming album Pain Chronicles you heard. I would be more then honored to represent my work on the stage with this band in my country after the gigs we had in Greece. Hope to see you guys very soon! We wish a very fast recovery to Obduktor!

Yamas (cheers)! It seems like a destiny with my relations to Greece! I am glad to announce my presence in Greece again. I am ready to join hellenic forces OBDUKTION & represent the upcoming album Pain Chronicles! This time we play in Patras, main city of Pelopones peninsula. Kalimera (good morning). Another album up to be recorded. Today I enter the Negligence Sound Studio to record drums for Obduktion, greek death metal band from Athens. Very busy month is behind me, so be prepared for some sick creations & something you usually not expect from me ;) That's the third full lenght album of the band and I am proud to be part of it. As soon the album is released I'll post it here that you'll be able to buy it and enjoy it. Till then…. Metal!  

Hi everybody. I am still on scandinavian tour with Belphegor. Tonight we play the last show here in Gothenburg (Sweden). Show in Stockholm yesterday was amazing, aslo the one before that one in Copenhagen (Denmark). We share the stages with swedish bands Devian, Guillotine and mighty warriors Unleashed, which are the headliner of the tour.  We are travelling across scandinavian countries with nightliner bus from Massive Music (Poland). This second home is already well known to us, cause it´s now for the third time we are travelling with it. I´ll make a longer report about expressions from the tour when I am back home. Till then.... Skål (cheers)!!   

Amazing news for all the fans of my band SCAFFOLD. I entered the studio to record the drums for the full lenght CD. SCAFFOLD will cooperate with Negligence Sound Studio here in Slovenia with already well known Robert's and SCAFFOLD's team mates Žiga Zmazek & Jan Švigelj. The major of the sound and recordings will be done at Negligence Sound Studio.Robert already recorded in the same studio 2 full length CD's & a couple of promo CD's with his bands & projects. Also SCAFFOLD’s 2 song promo CD 2005 was recorded with the same guys from the studio. We are all looking forward to create this masterpeace for which we are all waiting for a long time now. I'll update you with news of the studio process frequently. The monster will be recorded in more sessions in the next months. Album should be finished & released in the end of the year 2009. 

After some time SCAFFOLD appeared on a stage with full force. The appearence attended in hometown Ljubljana in the club KUD France Prešeren, 27.12.2008. The festival was well organised by Rope and the crew of a Heavy New Year Festival Our heads were blown away by the number of people showed on the festival. The tickets were sold out very soon and some people couldn't went inside. We feel very sorry for those who wanted to see our show, but they couldn't. For all those who understand slovenian, you can read a report about that awesome evening here (find a title Heavy New Year). We hope for more supported festivals like this one & to see you all again very soon. Keep it brutal!! 

Kalispera (good evening). I am back from Greece, where I performed with Belphegor in Athens - Central Greece and Thessaloniki on the north part of the country called Macedonia, not so far away from famous mount Olympus "home of the gods". We came directly from freezing Austria full of snow to a warm & sunny Athens weather with 18°C in december, so cool! It was a nice experience to play in Greece, although we didn't know how everything will roll on, cause of the riots on the streets of Athens. When we came there, everything was calm, but still with some tension in the air.

I would like to thank all the fans which came to the shows in great number! Thank you Alexandros, Takis, Yannis, Panagiotis ''Dionysos''… for your help & also to a good friend of us George Kollias from Nile, who came to the show in Athens to meet us & guys from legendary Rotting Christ aswell. Hope to see you all again soon!

Robert will enter the studio in the beginning of may to record drums for 2 track promo CD of Dutch project WEAPONS TO HUNT. This is a thrash/death metal project of Ron Van De Polder (ex-Sinister, Infinited Hate,..) and Aad (Sinister, Infinited Hate, Supreme Pain,..). Songs are titeled: "THE HELL ROOM" & "STRIKE FACE". Thrash till Death!!

Hello croatian metal heads! After 7 or 8 years SCAFFOLD is visiting Croatia again! We will perform as headliner act on Zagreb Metal Fest-Warm Up. I am very thankful to Boris Mihačević for his invitation. See you there!!!

Robert will enter the Negligence Sound Studio from 2.3.-9.3.2008 to record 16 songs for Dutch band FONDLECORPSE ( Razorback records USA) official & myspace . 11 songs will be used for a full length CD and another 5 songs for a split vinyl. Release date for the full length is scheduled for Hell-O-Ween 2008.

Robert will travel  to Netherlands in the beginning of january 2007 to prepare with Supreme Pain material for editing & mixing the upcoming album in Excess studio / Rotterdam. They will also make a photo session for upcoming album titled Cadaver Pleasures.

Robert entered the Negligence Sound Studio to record drums for the first full lenght CD entitled Cadaver Pleasures with Supreme Pain . Album will be entitled Cadaver Pleasures and will be released in the beginning of 2008 by Comatose Music from USA. Mixing will take place at Studio Excess in Netherlands, january 2008. Mastering will be done at Sound Lab Studios, USA by Bob Moore.

The band is getting more and more popular around the globe, touring constantly, doing many headliner shows and festivals. I am looking forward to see you all on a road very soon!!

I would like to apologize to all our fans in Romania, but we need to cancel the gig in Live Metal Club - Bucharest. Myself, as well as other band members got ill, two of them a week ago and I caught the flu only three days ago. And because of the disease, unfortunately, we are not able to go on a road to play the gig. I would like to thank Florin and Adrian for their help and the invitation. But there is also good news. They promised us to organize SCAFFOLD gig in Romania again on some other occasion, hopefully in a few months. We were really looking forward to play in Romania for the first time. All Slovenian metalheads knew of our gig in Romania and were happy for us cause it would really be something special for such a small country with no great bands and no big opportunities.Thank you all again for your support and kindness and we hope to see you all in very near future. Last year Robert Kovačič joined a new formed brutal death metal band SUPREME PAIN from The Netherlands. Erwin Harreman (guitar, bass) is the founding member, who is also responsible for designing original SINISTER logo, he had a short cooperation with SINISTER as their bass player and currently he is beeing their roadie. Aad Kloosterwaard from SINISTER has taken a leading role of a vocalist in the project.Currently SUPREME PAIN is busy preparing for the recording of their first promo CD which bares the name: LIFELESS SKIN AND BONES. The recording will be happening in December 2006 and it shall take place at HELTER BELTER STUDIO, which is owned and run by Paul Beltman, the SINISTER drummer.

Aljoša Orlovič, guitar player of Robert's band SCAFFOLD is invited to Netherlands by SUPREME PAIN and will travel along with Robert to record solo guitars as a guest musician.

(eng): On saturday, 4th of March 2006, Robert plays with SCAFFOLD at Youth Centre Kreš in Slovenska Bistrica (Slovenia) with other performers: Metalsteel, Sabaium, Dickless Tracy and Crossbreed. The concert is dedicated to the memory of Roman Mikša - Miki, who passed away tragically in december last year. All the money from sold tickets goes to a fond for his wife and his three children he left behind. You are more than welcome!

(svn): V soboto, 4. marca 2006 bo Robert s svojim bandom SCAFFOLD nastopil v Mladinskem Centru Kreš v Slovenski Bistrici z bandi Metalsteel, Sabaium, Dickless Tracy in Crossbreed. Koncert je posvečen Romanu Mikši - Mikiju, ki je decembra lansko leto tragicno preminil. Ves denar od prodanih vstopnic gre njegovi njegovi ženi in trem otrokom, ki jih je zapustil, zato vabljeni v cim vecjem številu!

As it was already said months ago, Robert has joined Crossroatsz and have been rehearsing quite regularly, so some concert dates are planned. He will perform with both bands SCAFFOLD and CROSSROATSZ in the same night on a few upcoming gigs. You won't be sorry to see both bands together! Come and break some necks with us!!! ;) \m/
